The 25C160 is a 16K bit Serial Electrically Erasable PROM with memory accessed via a simple Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI™) compatible serial bus. The bus signals required are a clock input (SCK) plus separate data in (SI) and data out (SO) lines. Access to the device is controlled through a chip select (CS) input. The 25C160 is capable of operation across voltage range of 4.5V to 5.5V with an extended/automotive temperature range (-40°C to + 125°C). The 25C160 is available in 8-pin PDIP, and SOIC (150 mil) packages.
